Energy Performance Certificates

From the 1st October 2008 all Landlords have an obligation to provide prospective tenants with an Energy Performance Certificate and this document must be in place prior to marketing.

The certificate must be carried out by an accredited Domestic Energy Assessor and will include information on energy usage, carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions and also recommendations for improvement. The certificate is valid for 10 years.
